It took me two months and two days to come back and sit at the desk I was at when I was informed I’d been made redundant from my job.
In this time I didn’t have the luxury of not looking for other jobs, nor did I feel strong enough to power through the process every day. The event broke me a little bit. The ensuing activities are never pleasant, the pandemic only made them worse. But family and friends have been kind, as always. And here I am. Still managing to appreciate nature and feeling more gratitude than I have in a long time.
Still looking for a job.

Both of us are jobless. I left one while yours left you and yes, all this while we have our health and loved ones safe. So all will get back to the norm and I wish that happens soon for the both of us.
